2/03/12 Quantum x64 is released. This program expands the hybrid-fractal capabilities of Montezuma and features 120+ built-in formulas of various fractal types including Kaleidoscope IFS (escape-time) fractals. Check out the new Quantum Gallery for examples of what Quantum is capable of displaying and exporting. As with other DE programs recently released, Quantum has been added to the Everything X64 Plus package at no extra charge. Think of it as an investment. You don't have to use all nineteen programs in the package immediately, but they're there when and if you need them (no time limit on downloads at Mystic Fractal.) Even if you only download half of the programs in the package, it's still a bargain on a per-program basis! And the package isn't limited to just the programs it now includes (five x64 programs have been added to the package in the last six months and there are at least three 32-bit programs waiting to be upgraded to 64 bits and added to the package too!) 12/16/11 Updated versions of Montezuma and Fractal Imaginator x64 are released. Both of these programs feature improved export methods that allow you to pinpoint select portions of a 3-D fractal for exporting. Extended zoomed-into-objects are now possible to export. Montezuma features a new Hybrid fractal which enables you to combine any two built-in formulas such as the Mandelbox and Mandelbulb formulas. It is also now possible to export portions of a Mandelbox that have been zoomed in on. Check out the new Hybrid & Zoom Gallery for examples of what Montezuma is now capable of displaying and exporting. 10/13/11 Ocelot is released for 64-bit Windows. This features a distance estimator for faster (up to 10X) and more accurate plots. Check out the new Ocelot Octonion Gallery for examples of what can be done with Ocelot. As with other DE programs recently released, Ocelot has been added to several of the X64 packages at no extra charge, which makes the packages an even better bargain, on a per program basis! 9/14/11 RSK x64 is released for 64-bit Windows. This features a distance estimator for faster (up to 10X) and more accurate quaternion plots. This is a major update to the 32-bit RSK program previously released. Plots are much smoother and many additional enhancements have been made to the original program. As with other x64 programs recently released, RSK x64 has been added to the Everything X64 Plus Package at no extra charge, which makes this package an even better bargain, on a per program basis! 8/07/11 Pod DE is released for 64-bit Windows. This features a distance estimator for faster (up to 10X) and more accurate plots. This is a major update to the 32-bit Pod ME program previously released. Plots are much smoother and many additional enhancements have been made to the original program. Check out the new Pod DE Gallery for examples of what can be done with Pod DE. As with other DE programs recently released, Pod DE has been added to several of the X64 packages at no extra charge, which makes the packages an even better bargain, on a per program basis! 7/28/11 Cubics DE is released for 64-bit Windows. This features a distance estimator for faster (up to 10X) and more accurate plots. This is a major update to the 32-bit Cubics program previously released. Plots are much smoother and many additional enhancements have been made to the original program. Check out the new Cubics DE Gallery for examples of what can be done with Cubics DE. As with other DE programs recently released, Cubics DE has been added to several of the X64 packages at no extra charge, which makes the packages an even better bargain, on a per program basis! 6/20/11 DynaMaSZ DE is released for 64-bit Windows. This features a distance estimator for faster (up to 10X) and more accurate plots. 6/8/11 Hydra DE is released for 64-bit Windows. This features a distance estimator for faster (up to 10X) and more accurate plots. 6/7/11 New versions of Fractal Imaginator and Fractal Imaginator x64 are released. These feature integrated support for the Mandelbulb type (Sine and Cosine versions.) Many of the formulas in Fractal Imaginator now have the capacity to use triplex math where the formula is compatible with it. (Some functions have no triplex equivalent, or are unsupported, such as log[M] and inverse trigonometric functions.) You can create your own triplex formulas in the parser too. Transcendental triplex functions include sine, cosine, tan, ctn, sec and csc. The exponential triplex function is also supported as are division and recipricals. 5/24/11 A new gallery is posted featuring images by Mystic MandalaBeth 3-D and Bryce 6. 5/22/11 Mystic MandalaBeth 3-D is released. This features the 3-D mandalabeth functions invented by Elizabeth R. Chen. 5/20/11 A new gallery is posted featuring images by Montezuma and Bryce 6. 5/19/11 Montezuma (x64) is released. This features a distance estimator for faster (up to 10X) and more accurate plots of the Mandelbulb and Mandelbox fractals, in addition to quaternion, hypernion, cquat and juliat fractals. Montezuma is the first of two new programs at Mystic Fractal especially designed for 64-bit Windows [Mystic Mandalabeth is forthcoming...] 7/11/10 Four new x64 packages are released, the QuaSZ X64 Package, the Fractal Zplot X64 Package, The Crocus X64 Package and the Super X64 Package. These contain 64 bit updates to programs contained in the 32 bit packages of the same surnames. Also included in the new packages as bonuses are the 32 bit packages they are based on, so if you have multiple Windows systems, you can use whichever version of the program that works in it, plus you also get access to the 32 bit programs that haven't been upgraded yet to 64 bits. (If you already own one of the 32 bit packages described here, upgrade buttons are provided for the 64 bit versions, that allow you to upgrade at greatly reduced cost.) 4/13/10 New versions of Crocus 4, Swirlique and Fractal Lab, along with 64 bit versions, Crocus x64, Swirlique x64 and Fractal Lab x64 are posted. New x64 packages are also available. 3/18/10 A new version of Fractal Orbits is posted along with a 64 bit version, Fractal Orbits x64. These include the Mandelbulb Sine and Mandelbulb Cosine formulas designed by Paul Nylander and Daniel White. 3/11/10 A new package featuring 64-bit programs exclusively is released, The X64 Package. The programs included in the package are up to three times as fast as their 32-bit predecessors. 3/10/10 The first brand new Mystic Fractal program since 2008, Mantra, is released, along with a 64 bit version, Mantra x64. These are dedicated Mandelbulb generators that feature 100+ triplex formulas for creating a wide variety of Mandelbulb Sine and Mandelbulb cosine images. A new version of Orca is posted along with a 64 bit version, Orca x64. These include Paul Nylander's triplex math extensions for Mandelbulb Sine and Mandelbulb Cosine formulas. 2/27/10 A new Mandelbulb 3D Gallery is posted featuring images created with QuaSZ x64, Orca x64, Vue Esprit 8, Bryce 6 and POV-Ray. 2/18/10 Fractal ViZion x64 is released. 2/15/10 A new version of Fractal ViZion is released. This is based on the latest version of Fractal Zplot. It features most options found in Fractal Zplot except 3D exports, composite figures and images requiring an external photo, such as pic-trap fractals. It is designed to be easy to use and self-contained, with maybe some retouching and post-processing of images created with it using a paint program such as Photo Shop. Note: due to the restructuring of orbital fractals in Fractal Zplot, data files containing orbital fractals are incompatible with previous versions of Fractal ViZion... Current users of Fractal ViZion should probably keep an older copy of Fractal ViZion available if they intend to reproduce an orbital fractal created with it. (The current version contains all of the previous orbital fractal types for generating new orbital fractals.) 2/05/10 Fractal Imaginator x64 and Fractal Zplot x64 are released. 1/30/10 QuaSZ x64 is released, the first Mystic Fractal program designed for 64-bit Windows.
